Edition

Cf. Edition is a collection of limited edition pieces designed and hand-thrown by Candy Valentine in her Los Angeles studio. Inspired by sensorial memories embedded within clay, stone, wood and other elemental materials, the language of forms speaks of ancient spirits. With ceramics at the heart of the collection, Cf. Edition evokes a meditation on daily life through modern ritual - a bridge to the ‘eternal spring’.

The Showroom launched in the Summer of 2022 as an inhabitable expression of the Cf. Edition world - an environment to engage each of the senses through regular events and exhibitions: collaborative chef-led dinners, film screenings and gallery workshops.

The Studio and Showroom are currently open to shop by appointment only.

Cf. Edition began in 2018 with a curiosity for designing functional objects in clay and wood which felt simultaneously meditative and playful. After chapters spent first learning to throw in New York then studying in London at UAL under their multidisciplinary Designer: Maker Masters program, Studio Cf opened a production space in East Hollywood as a dedicated home to create and experiment.

Furoshiki

Cf. Furoshiki is a gift shop of treasured objects found on travels to hidden corners of the earth. From Japan to Ethiopia, the collection is carefully curated on the basis of ‘spirit quota’: a particular quality beyond language that resonates deeply within the senses like a primal drum beat.
